Although you can edit source strings in your workspace, the best practice to update existing source files is always to be made outside OneSky, directly in your source files or in any of the content platforms that your OneSky workspace may be integrated with.
Any small updates, such as changes in punctuation or spacing to string keys, will be treated as a new string.
Save changes using the original file name
Once the source file has been updated, save the changes and ensure the file is named the same as what's already uploaded to OneSky.
Upload to OneSky and overwrite existing file
-
Go to Content Hub > Import
-
Drag the updated file to the middle field
-
Configure the file import setting by clicking the change result in orange highlight
-

- Click Import to start importing
What’s next after updating the source file?

- View Translation Progress
-
Click Order Translation
On OneSky, you can order Multi-Agent AI translate, and AI + Post-Editing for your new and updated strings. See Order placing workflow here.
